Hi All,

My wife and I will be moving to Ibiza permanently from 8th September. We will complete our EX-15/17 forms in readiness. Just wondered who we need to present these to in Ibiza? What is the best bank to register with on the island?

Also, do you know anyone who can help to have our UK car changed to new Spainish official doc and plate?

thank you in advance.

Adam and Vicky

You will need to obtain a visa from the UK Spainish consulates. This can take up to 6 months to provide all the necessary information.  When you arrive here you will need to obtain a NIE number (meeting with the Police), my advice is to get a gesturia to help manage this for you. I know someone who can help. If you bring your car with you then you will have to get this registered correctly and new Spanish plates. Bexit has not helped and Brits will have to pay mucho for the privilege of living on the beautiful island. Best of luck mi amigo.
