Hi

Apologies in advance if I'm repeating obvious questions, but.....

We will be flying to the UK from Ibiza on 21st July and will need a Covid test before our flight.

I've seen several places online in Ibiza that will do both PCR and Antigen tests - the former being much more expensive.

The advice from the UK government states that an acceptable test "must meet the performance standards of ≥97% specificity, ≥80% sensitivity at viral loads above 1000,000 copies/ml." The website then goes on to say that " this could include tests such as a PCR test or an Antigen test".

Does anyone know if either of the two tests available are acceptable to the UK government, as this information seems a bit conflicting. Obviously we would go for the cheaper option if it were acceptable!

Any advice would be greatly appreciated - thank you in advance.

We have just returned to the U.K. from Ibiza. Had a Lateral Flow Test at the Policlinica Rosario in Santa Eulalia which was accepted by both Spanish and U.K. governments.

Thank you so much for this information. Can you please advise how much you paid, if you don't mind? Many thanks!
